What's new in version 3

  • JAVA Web Start Implementation

  • This allows the most up-to-date version of eBURSTv3 to be installed locally
and the current data from each MLST website is streamed over the internet directly to the application.
  • Ability to run eBURST off-line

  • Comparative eBURST
  • Compare two of your own datasets and highlight those STs that are present only in one or other of the datasets, or in both datasets, using three different colour.
  • Compare your dataset to the whole MLST database, again with different colours to highlight STs unique and common to both datasets
  • Other enhancements
  • Docking of eBURSTv2 floating windows and menu-based access to functions.
  • Search and highlight an ST in the tabular output of eBURST groups or in the eBURST diagram.
  • Print directly from eBURST
  • Output formats – images can be saved in a number of bitmap formats and also as Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) allowing further editing of eBURST diagrams in third party applications.
